How to install PlayMusic:

1. PlayMusic is downloaded as zip-archive. If your web browser doesn't automatically unzip it, double-click the downloaded file PlayMusic_26_0_0_1.zip or PlayMusic_18_5_2_1.zip to do this.

2. To install PlayMusic automatically, double-click the file Install.exe and follow the install wizard. By default PlayMusic is installed directly in the Plug-ins folder and PlayMusic will appear in the Plug-ins menu. If you want it to appear in one of the existing sub-menus in the Plug-ins menu, select an appropriate folder for installing PlayMusic. Otherwise, create a folder called anything you like: this will appear as a new sub-menu.

3. If you wish to install PlayMusic manually, first find out where your Finale’s plug-ins folder is located (choose Edit> Preferences> Folders> Plug-ins or Edit> Program Options> Folders> Plug-ins for Finale 2011 and early). Next copy the file PlayMusic.fxt in that folder (or in a subfolder if you want it in a submenu of the Plug-ins menu). You can also create a new subfolder and copy this file in there.

NOTE: If you install PlayMusic while Finale is running, it will be available only after restart Finale.
